Deep Cleaning on Hilton Head

Our teams specialize in deep cleaning of vacation rentals and residential homes in Hilton Head. We follow a rigorous cleaning and disinfecting checklist that will leave your home germ free and looking like new.

Bedrooms:

  • Remove mattress pad & bed skirt for washing. Turn the mattress over; if a pillow top mattress, then rotate
  • Wash & dry comforter or quilt(s),
  • Check all blankets & extra linens (wash/dry if needed or bring to me for replacement or disposal) Clean inside and organize closet(s)
  • Note any replacement needs (hangers, pillows, pillow protectors, etc.)
  • Vacuum ceiling and walls
  • Vacuum AND WASH ceiling fans — check on fan blades/both sides, vacuum motor vents
  • Vacuum all ceiling HVAC vents (if an issue — mold, stained, rusted — let me know) Pull all furniture away from the walls for cleaning
  • Vacuum and wash all baseboards (including behind furniture)
  • Vacuum and wash all doorway trim and doors (especially if louvered)
  • Wash inside of windows and wash trim & sills
  • Clean all window treatments (vacuum or wash [vertical blinds]), curtains or drapes bring to me Vacuum inside dresser & nightstand drawers
  • Vacuum lampshades
  • Wash & dry or wax fronts of dressers, nightstands, chairs as needed Wash/clean all deco items
  • Wash all artificial plants (if you need help, let me know)
  • Check all electric for service (need light bulbs, TVs not working, etc.F)
  • If there are sliders, clean inside and outside of glass, vacuum & wash the track
  • Vacuum floors: especially along the baseboard — spot clean (if they need professional cleaning, let me know ASAP)
  • If there are any repairs needed, let me know ASAP

Bathrooms:

  • Scrub tile surround or shower stall (note any caulking that needs to be replaced — let me know ASAP) (use a bleach-based spray cleaner on caulking, allow to set)
  • Wash or replace shower liner, wash shower curtain (note any missing rings)
  • Clean inside & outside of commode (especially behind and nearby walls)
  • Clean inside vanity — dispose of all partial beauty supplies, wash inside, clean inside of drawers Wash exterior of vanity
  • Clear counter tops and clean – use a bleaching agent on all caulked seams (let me know of any caulking repairs)
  • Vacuum ceiling and walls (use the wide blade on the vacuum)
  • Vacuum all ceiling fan/light vents (if an issue — mold, stained, rusted — let me know)
  • Vacuum and wash all baseboards (including behind the door, underneath of vanity) Vacuum and wash all doorway trim and doors
  • Clean the mirror & inside of medicine cabinet (where applicable), clean sink & shine fixtures Wash/clean all deco items
  • Wash all artificial plants (if you need help, let me know)
  • Check all electric for service (replace any bulbs in vanity light as necessary)
  • Vacuum floor, then scrub or mop
  • If there are any repairs needed, let me know ASAP
  • Great room (living & dining areas, front entry way):
  • Vacuum ceiling and walls
  • Vacuum AND WASH ceiling fans — check on fan blades/both sides, vacuum motor vents
  • Vacuum all ceiling HVAC vents (if an issue — mold, stained, rusted — let me know) Pull all furniture away from the walls for cleaning
  • Vacuum and wash all baseboards (including behind furniture)
  • Vacuum and wash all doorway trim and doors (especially if louvered, must be done by hand) Wash inside of windows and wash trim & sills
  • If there are sliders, clean inside and outside of glass, vacuum & wash the track Lift sofa cushions and vacuum, open sofa sleeper (where applicable) and vacuum
  • Spot clean cushioned furniture (if they need professional cleaning, let me know)
  • Dust/wax all accouterments, clean glass tabletops (turn if possible)
  • Dust/wax all furniture (including stiles, backs, etc.)
  • Wash/clean all deco items
  • Wash all artificial plants (if you need help, let me know)
  • Vacuum lampshades
  • Wash throw rugs (as necessary) or get replacements
  • Clean inside and outside of front entry door & side lights (where applicable)
  • Check all electric for service (need light bulbs, TVs not working, etc.) If there are any repairs needed, -let me know -ASAP

Kitchen:

  • Clean interior & exterior of all major appliances, including microwave lights, gasket and sides of dishwasher, top & bottom vent of frig, pull frig out & clean floor underneath etc.
  • Vacuum ceiling and walls (use the wide blade on the vacuum)
  • Vacuum all ceiling vents (if an issue — mold, stained, rusted — let me know)
  • Vacuum and wash all baseboards (including behind any doors, toe kick underneath base cabinets) Vacuum and wash all doorway trim and doors
  • If there are sliders, clean inside and outside of glass, vacuum & wash the track
  • Empty and clean inside of cabinets, reorganize dishes, glassware, pots & pans
  • Dispose of all food related items (salt/pepper OK)
  • Inventory all cooking ware (including utensils) for replacement (if applicable) — bring me what needs to be replaced Empty and clean inside of all drawers, organize silverware, etc.
  • Check and clean countertop appliances (toaster, coffeemaker, blender, etc.), make sure they work
  • Clean inside of sink cabinet, dispose of plastic bags, etc. If new liner is needed, let me know Wash fronts of all cabinets & drawers
  • Wash garbage can inside & out, if installed in a cabinet, clean inside the pullout cabinet Clean the top of the cabinets (especially when they can be seen from a second floor) Wash/clean all deco items on top of cabinets
  • Clear counter tops and clean – use a bleaching agent on all caulked seams (let me know ASAP of any needed caulking repairs)
  • Check all electric for service

Miscellaneous:

  • Check inside of washer and dryer, make sure dryer filter is clean, clean inside the washer around lid and soap/bleach dispensers, leave the washer lid up
  • Sweep or vacuum laundry area (including ceiling & walls), clean behind/under washer & dryer possible
  • Discard old or empty containers of detergent, softener, etc.
  • Check for cleaning tools (broom, dustpan, mop or Swiffer)
  • Check ironing board & iron (if ironing board cover needs replacing let me know) Inventory unit for light bulb supply, beach towels
  • Monitor service area & let me know if it needs cleaning and/or broken or rusted items (like beach chairs) need to be hauled away
